Windows 7 Release Party
I was chosen to host a Windows 7 Release party!
I am thinking about streaming stuff on this site. What do you think? Any suggestions?
I also plan on giving away some of the Swag I get if anyone is interested. Maybe I could come up with a simple contest…..any suggestions?

I think it would be a great idea. Maybe some features and what you think about the new windows would be awesome. I know I want to hold out until more people say that I should buy it. Giving out swag would be cool but…a contest maybe a quick quiz? or like 150 words why you want the swag. Have fun with the release party!
Good ideas….once I get the package, I plan on taking a bunch of pics and posting them. I have heard what is in the package but I am not sure how accurate it is.
I have been using Windows 7 for a couple months now as my sole OS. I am EXTREMELY impressed with it. I can not say I have had any problems with it.
Yeh great idea I wouldn’t mind seeing some pics of a running windows 7. How are you finding the speed of windows 7? Is it much faster than vista?
Windows 7 runs smoother than Vista. I have 2 almost identical machines (The Vista machine has a nicer processor) and in general 7 seems faster. From my limited gaming benchmarks, 7 out performs Vista across the board. I would go as far as saying that some games even run better on 7 vs. XP!
